Initial Sessions run for 65 minutes to allow more time for a thorough understanding of your background and current concerns. As this appointment is longer, the fee for the first session is $325.

Telehealth appointments are available Australia-wide, offering a flexible and convenient way to access psychological support from the privacy of your own home. Telehealth may be particularly helpful for individuals with busy schedules, mobility limitations or caring responsibilities, as well as those who feel more comfortable meeting online. Sessions are conducted through a secure video platform and provide the same professional, evidence-based care as in-person appointments.

Medicare rebates are available to eligible clients with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from their GP. Eligible clients may access rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year, subject to Medicare’s referral requirements.

The current Medicare rebate is $101.55 per session. The full session fee is payable at the time of the appointment, after which the Medicare rebate can be processed on the client’s behalf.

Ember & Bloom Psychology Clinic provides therapeutic supports to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. NDIS services are charged in accordance with the current NDIS Pricing Schedule for psychology supports, presently $252.99 per hour. This rate may be adjusted in line with future changes to NDIS pricing. Invoices can be issued to the participant or directly to their plan manager, as applicable.

Any charges for non-face-to-face supports, such as report writing or liaison with other professionals, will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
